    ٦٢٦ - أبو الفتوح الشجاعي أبو الفتوح فضل الله بن محمود بن محمد بن علي بن محمد بن علي بن شجاع الشجاعي السرخسي المعروف بالسره مرد من أهل سرخس. وهو من أحفاد أبي سفيان أحمد بن عبد الله العبدوسي، من بيت الحديث، والعلم، والتقدير، وكان فاضلاً، ظريفاً، حسن الأخلاق. سمع بمرو جدي أبا المظفر، وبسرخس، أبا منصور بن عبد الملك المظفري، وأبا الفتح عبد الرزاق بن حسان المنيعي، وغيرهم. لقيته بمرو غير مرة، وكتبت عنه بسرخس شيئاً يسيراً، ووفاته بنيسابور في ذي القعدة سنة ثمان وعشرين وخمسمئة، وحمل تابوته إلى سرخس.
