    ٥٨٩ - أبو الحسن المروزي أبو الحسن علي بن أبي القاسم عبد الله الصباغ المروزي من أهل مرو. وكان متصلاً بشيخنا محمد بن عبد الرحمن الخطيب، وعلي الصباغ، كان شيخاً صالحاً، راغباً في الخير وأهله. صناع اليد موفقاً في عمارة المساجد. سمع أبا القاسم يحيى بن علي بن محمد الكشميهني، وغيره. سمعت منه بقرية كشميهن، بإفادة شيخنا محمد بن عبد الرحمن، وكانت ولادته في حدود سنة خمسين وأربعمئة، وتوفي في سنة خمس وعشرين وخمسمئة.
