    ٥٣١ - أبو عمرو الخلمي أبو عمرو عثمان بن أحمد بن محمد الخليلي الخلمي المعروف بخطيب خلم. إمام فاضل، فقيه مفتي، مناظر. وليّ الخطابة ببلخ، وصار شيخ الإسلام بها. تفقه على الإمام أبي بكر محمد بن أحمد بن علي القزاز،وسمع الحديث منه ومن القاضي أبي سعيد الخليل بن أحمد السجزي وأبي بكر محمد بن عبد الملك الماسكاني الخطيب، وأبي المظفر منصور بن أحمد بن محمد البسطامي، وغيرهم. كتب إلي الإجازة من بلخ بخطه في ذي القعدة سنة تسع وعشرين وخمسمئة. وتوفي بعد هذا التاريخ.
