    ٥٠١ - أبو طاهر المعداني أبو طاهر عمر بن حامد بن رجاء بن عمر بن محمد بن علي بن معدان المعداني، أخو أبي القاسم الخطيب. نقلت نسبه من أسم جده الأعلى إن شاء الله عمر. روى لنا عنه الصيرفي من أهل أصبهان. سمع سليمان بن إبراهيم الحافظ، وأبا العباس ابن أشته، وغيرهما. كتبت عنه بأصبهان، وكانت ولادته في حدود سنة ثمانين وأربعمئة أو قبلها.
