٢٣٤ - أبو محمد الاسفراييني أبو محمد سعد بن عبد الجبار بن علي بن محمد بن حسكان الاسفراييني الإمامي من أهل نيسابور. كان إماماً، فاضلاً، بارعاً، أصولياً. سمع أبا الحسن علي بنمحمد بن علي البحاتي الزوزني الأديب، وأبا سعد الكنجروذي. سمع منه الإمام والدي. كتب إلي الإجازة في جمادى الأولى سنة تسع وخمسمئة، وكانت ولادته في حدود سنة أربعين وأربعمئة فيما أظن.

٢٩٦ - أبو محمد الإسفراييني أبو محمد طلحة بن الحسين بن محمد بن الحسين بن طلحة الأسفراييني المهرجاني من أهل أسفرايين. من بيت معروف، وهو ولي القضاء باسفرايين مدة وحمدت سيرته في ولايته وقد كان في شبابه يلابس الأشغال السلطانية ثم ترك ذلك وكان يحفظ التنبيه ويشتغل بالعلم. سمع جده الرئيس أبا الحسن محمد بن الحسين بن طلحة المهرجاني، وأبا الفتيان محمد بن عبد الكريم الرواسي الحافظ وغيرهما. سمعت منه أحاديث يسيرة وسألته عن مولده فقال: ولدت غرة شوال من سنة ثمان وسبعين وأربعمئة بأسفرايين. وتوفي بها في الخامس من ذي الحجة سنة ست وأربعين وخمسمئة فجأة في دهليز الحمام وكان به الأحتباس.
