١٨٦ - أبو المظفر الخوارِومي أبو المظفر خلف بن عبد الرحمن بن أحمد بن محمد المكي الخوارزمي من أهل خوارزم. والد جده محمد كان من مكة سكن خوارزم بقرية يقال لها روذان، وولد له بها الأولاد ورد مرو قبل سنة ثلاثين، وتفقه بها،ثم انصرف إلى بلاده. اختص بخوارزم شاه أتسز ثم ولده، وكان جليل القدر، حسن السيرة، ساكناً وقوراً. لقيته بخوارزم. سنة إثنين وخمسين، ثم قدم علينا مرو سنة إحدى وستين، فقعد المجلس في الجامع في رمضان، وكنت معتكفاً، وكانت ولادته بجرجانية خوارزم في شهور سنة أربع وخمسمئة.
