    ١٢٣ - أبو علي المِهْرَجاني أبو علي الحسن بن المعتز بن الفضل بن محمد بن سعيد بن محمد المهرجاني من أهل أسفرايين.كان شيخاً، جليل القدر، من مشاهير بلدته، وكان ممن يوصف بفعل الخير والإحسان إلى الفقراء، والغرباء. سمع أبا الحسن محمد بن الحسين بن طلحة الأسفراييني. سمعت منه أحاديث يسيرة بأسفرايين منصرفي من العراق، وكانت ولادته في سنة نيف وسبعين وأربعمئة، ووفاته في حدود سنة خمسين وخمسمئة إن شاء الله.
