    ٥٩ - أبو الحسن الحُلْواني أبو الحسن بدل بن الحسين بن علي الحلواني من أهل حلوان. كان فقيهاً، صالحاً، خيراً. سمع شيئاً يسيراً، وكان أصحابنا يكتبون عنه لغرابة اسمه، ولأنه فقيه بلدته، حدث عن أبي عبد الله محمد بن أحمد بن يحيى الدِيْبَاجي المقدسي. كتبت عنهبحلوان، ولما وافيت حلوان في شهر ربيع الأول سنة إثنتين وثلاثين طلبته وبالغت في طلبه حتى وجدته، وكان قد كتب لي بأصبهان عنه صاحبنا أبو أحمد معمر بن الفاخر حديثين، فقرأتهما عليه، وخرجت إلى بغداد فلما إنصرفت في سنة سبع وثلاثين ودخلت حلوان فسألت عنه فقيل لي مات من سنين والله تعالى يرحمه.
