٧١٥٩ - محمد بن أحمد بن علي، أبو مسلم البغدادي الكاتب نزيل مصر، وآخر أصحاب البغوي موتا. قال الصوري: بعض أصوله عن البغوي وغيره جياد. وقال المحدث أبو الحسين العطار (٢) : ما رأيت في أصول أبي مسلم الكاتب عن البغوي شيئا صحيحا غير جزء واحد، وما عداه كان مفسودا. قال الخطيب (٣) : كان كاتب الوزير ابن خنزابة (٤) ، حدث عن البغوي، وابن أبي داود، وابن صاعد، وسعيد بن [أبي] (٥) أخي زبير الحافظ، وابن دريد، وبدر بن الهيثم، وابن مجاهد. قيل: مات في ذي القعدة سنة تسع وتسعين وثلثمائة.
