٦٤٩٩ - عنبسة بن خالد [خ، د] الايلى. عن عمه يونس بن يزيد. قال أبو حاتم: كان هذا على خراج مصر، وكان يعلق النساء بثديهن. قال ابن القطان: [كفى بهذا] (٢) في تجريحه. وقال الفسوي: سمعت يحيى بن بكير يقول: إنما يحدث عن عنبسة مجنون أحمق، لم يكن موضعا للكتابة عنه. وقال الساجي (٣) تفرد عن يونس بأحاديث. وكان أحمد بن حنبل يقول: مالنا ولعنبسة! أي شئ خرج علينا من عنبسة؟ هل روى عنه غير أحمد بن صالح. قلت: بل روى عنه جماعة، وأثنى عليه أبو داود.
