    ٥٥٨١ - عثمان الشحام [م، د، س] ، أبو سلمة البصري. يقال: ابن عبد الله. وقيل ابن ميمون. يروي عن أبي رجاء العطاردي، والحسن. قال يحيى القطان: يعرف [من حديثه] (١) وينكر. وقال أحمد: ليس به بأس. قلت: له حديث واحد في صحيح مسلم في الفتنة. أخرجه شاهدا. حماد بن سلمة، عن عثمان الشحام، عن مسلم بن أبي بكرة، عن أبيه - أن رسول الله ﷺ كان يقول: اللهم إنى أعوذ بك من الكفر والفقر وعذاب القبر. قال ابن عدي: ما أرى به بأسا. وقال النسائي: ليس بالقوى.
