    ٤٠٣٧ - عاصم بن العَجَّاج الجَحْدَري البصري، أبو المُجَشِّر المقرئ، وهو عاصم بن أبي الصبَّاح، قرأ على يحيى بن يَعْمَر، ونصر بن عاصم. أخذعنه سَلّام أبو المنذر، قراءتُه شاذّة، فيها ما يُنكر، انتهى. وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" وقال: كان من عُباد أهل البصرة وقُرّائهم، يروي عن أبي بكرة إنْ كان سمع منه، روى عنه هارون النحوي. مات سنة ١٢٩.
