٣٥٤٠ - سليم بن عيسى الكوفي القارئ إمام في القراءة. روى عن الثوري خبرا منكرا ساقه العقيلي، ولعل هذا الرجل غير القارئ. قال العقيلي: حدثنا يحيى بن عثمان، حدثنا أبو صالح كاتب الليث، حدثنا سليم ابن عيسى أبويحيى، عن سفيان الثوري، عن جعفر بن برقان، عن ميمون، عن عائشة / - مرفوعاً: أبغض العباد إلى الله من كان ثوباه خيرا (٤) من عمله، أن تكون [١٥٥ / ٢] ثيابه ثياب الانبياء وعمله عمل الجبارين. قلت: هذا باطل.
