٣٤٢٣ -[صح] سليمان بن أحمد بن أيوب اللخمى الطبراني الحافظ الثبت المعمر أبو القاسم. لا ينكر له التفرد في سعة ما روى. لينه الحافظ أبو بكر بن مردويه لكونه غلط أو نسى، فمن ذلك أنه وهم وحدث بالمغازي عن أحمد بن عبد الله بن عبد الرحيم ابن البرقى، وإنما أراد عبد الرحيم أخاه، فتوهم أن شيخه عبد الرحيم اسمه أحمد، واستمر على هذا يروي عنه، ويسميه أحمد. وقد مات أحمد قبل دخول الطبراني إلى مصر بعشر سنين أو أكثر. وإلى الطبراني المنتهى في كثرة الحديث وعلوه، فإنه عاش مائة سنة، وسمع وهو ابن ثلاث عشرة سنة، وبقى إلى سنة ستين وثلاثمائة، وبقى صاحبه ابن ريذة إلى سنة أربعين وأربعمائة، فكذاك العلو.
