٩٥٣ - وإسماعيل بن مسلمة [ق] بن قعنب العقيلي، أخو الامام عبد الله القعنبي، نزيل مصر. حدث عن مالك والكبار. ما علمت به بأسا إلا أنه ليس في الثقة كأخيه. وقال مالك بن سيف: حدثنا إسماعيل بن مسلمة، حدثنا مالك، فذكر حديثاً في طعام الوليمة فرفعه فوهم، وإنما هو في الموطأ من قول أبي هريرة.
