[ميزان الاعتدال (١/ ٨٤)]. • إبراهيم بن عصمة النيسابوري العدل. سمع السري بن خزيمة أدخلوا في كتبه أحاديث وهو في نفسه صادق انتهى. وهذا الرجل من مشايخ الحاكم قال في تاريخه: أدركته وقد شاخ وكان قد سمع أباه، وَغيره قبل الثمانين ومئتين وكانت أصوله صحاحا وسماعاته صحيحة فوقع اليه بعض الوراقين فزاد فيها أشياء قدبرأ الله أبا إسحاق منها. ومات سنة اثنتين وأربعين وثلاث مِئَة وهو ابن أربع وتسعين سنة.
