٤٣٣٩ - ليلى بنت الخطيم أخت قيس بن الخطيم بن عدي بن عمرو بن سواد بن ظفر. وأمها شرقة الدار بنت هيشة بن الحارث بن أمية بن معاوية بن مالك من بني عمرو بن عوف. تزوجها في الجاهلية مسعود بن أوس بن مالك بن سواد بن ظفر فولدت له عمرة وعميرة. وتوفي عنها وقدم رسول الله المدينة فكانت ليلى أول امرأة بايعها النبي ﷺ ومعها ابنتاها وابنتان لابنتيها ووهبت نفسها للنبي ﷺ ثم استقاله بنو ظفر فأقالها وفارقها. وكانت غيرى. وكان يقال لها أكلة الأسد.
