٤٢٠٥ - جويرية بنت أبي جهل بن هشام بن المغيرة بن عبد الله بن عمر بن مخزوم. وأمها أروى بنت أبي العيص بن أمية بن عبد شمس. أسلمت وبايعت وتزوجها عتاب بن أسيد بن أبي العيص بن أمية. ثم تزوجها أبان بن سعيد بن العاص بن أمية فلم تلد له شيئا. وجويرية هي التي خطبها علي بن أبي طالب فجاء بنو المغيرة إلى رسول الله ﷺ يستأمرونه في ذلك فلم يأذن لهم أن يزوجوه وقال: إنما فاطمة بضعة مني يسوءني ما ساءها.
