٢٩٩٣ - أرطبان مولى عبد الله بن درة بن سراق المزني. وهو جد عبد الله بن عون بن أرطبان. روى عن عمر بن الخطاب. قال: أخبرنا سليمان بن حرب قال: حدثنا حماد بن زيد عن ابن عون قال: حدثني أبي عن جدي أرطبان قال: لما عتقت اكتسبت مالا فأتيت عمر بن الخطاب بزكاته فقال لي: ما هذا؟ فقلت: زكاة مالي. فقال: ولك مال؟ قلت: نعم. فقال: بارك الله لك في مالك! فقلت: يا أمير المؤمنين وفي ولدي؟ قال: ولك ولد؟ قال: قلت: يكون. قال: بارك الله لك في مالك وولدك!.
