٢٨٦٥ - النمر بن تولب ابن أقيش. وأقيش بنت عكل بن عبد بن كعب بن عوف بن الحارث بن عوف بن وائل بن قيس بن عوف بن عبد مناة. حضنت عكل أمه لهم ولد عوف بن وائل فنسبوا إليها. والنمر بن تولب هو الشاعر. وكان وفد على النبي ﷺ. فأسلم ونزل البصرة بعد ذلك وكتب لهم النبي ﷺ كتابا. قال: أخبرنا عمرو بن عاصم الكلابي في بعض الحديث الذي رواه لنا إسماعيل بن عليه من حديث يزيد بن عبد الله بن الشخير قال: أتانا رجل من عكل ومعه كتاب من رسول الله ﷺ في قطعة جراب كتبه لهم: من محمد رسول الله إلى بني زهير بن أقيش. والرجل هو النمر بن تولب الشاعر. وبنو زهير بن أقيش بطن من عكل.
