٢١٩٥ - الهيثم بن الأسود. بن أقيش بن معاوية بن سفيان بن هلال بن عمرو بن جشم بن عوف بن النخع. وكان من رجال مذحج. وكان خطيبا شاعرا وقد روى عن عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص. وكان أبوه الأسود بن أقيش قد شهد القادسية وقتل يومئذ. وكان ابنه العريان بن الهيثم من رجال مذحج وأشرافهم المذكورين. ولي الشرط لخالد بن عبد الله القسري بالكوفة.
