١٨٨٩ - معن بن يزيد بن الأخنس بن حبيب بن جرو بن زعب بن مالك بن خفاف ابن عصية بن خفاف بن إمرئ القيس بن بهثة بن سليم بن منصور. قال: أخبرنا يحيى بن حماد قال: حدثنا أبو عوانة عن أبي الجويرية عن معن ابن يزيد قال: بايعت رسول الله ﷺ أنا وأبي وجدي وخاصمت إليه فأفلجني وخطب علي فأنكحني. ونزل معن بن يزيد الكوفة وشهد يوم مرج راهط مع الضحاك ابن قيس الفهري.
