١٨٧٠ - سلمة بن يزيد بن مشجعة بن المجمع بن مالك بن كعب بن سعد بن عوف بن حريم بن جعفي بن سعد العشيرة من مذحج. وفد إلى النبي ﷺ وأسلم. وروى عن النبي ﷺ أنه قام إليه وهو يخطب فقال: يا رسول الله أرأيت إن كان عليناأمراء بعدك يسألونا الحق ويمنعوناه!.
