١٤٦٩ - عتيق بن يعقوب بن صديق بن موسى بن عبد الله بن الزبير بن العوام ويكنى أبا بكر. وأمه حفصة بنت عمر بن عتيق بن عامر بن عبد الله بن الزبير. وقتل جده عمر بن عتيق وأبوه عتيق بن عامر جميعا بقديد. وكان عتيق بن يعقوب قد اعتزل فنزل السوارقية ثم رجع إلى المدينة فأقام بها. وكان لزوما لمالك بن أنس قد كتب عنه كتبه الموطأ وغيره. وكان يلزم عبد الله بن عبد العزيز العمري العابد. ولم يزل عتيق من خيار المسلمين. ومات سنة سبع أو ثمان وعشرين ومائتين.
