١٣٥٦ - عتبة بن جبيرة بن محمود بن أبي جبيرة بن الحصين بن النعمان بن سنان بن عبد بن كعب بن عبد الأشهل من الأوس وأمه أم محمود بنت عبد الرحمن بن أبي جبيرة بن الحصين بن النعمان من بني عبد الأشهل. فولد عتبة بن جبيرة: الضحاك. ومحمدا. وأمهما وهنة بنت صرمة بن عبد الله بن نيار بن صرمة من بني عدي بن النجار. مات سنة أربع وخمسين ومائة وهو يومئذ ابن سبعين سنة.
