    ١٠٦٦ - وأخوه عبد الله بن مسلم بن عبيد الله بن عبد الله الأصغر بن شهاب بن عبد الله بن الحارث بن زهرة. وأمه بنت أهبان بن لعط بن عروة بن صخر بن يعمر بن نفاثة بن عدي بن الديل بن عبد مناة بن كنانة. فولد عبد الله: محمدا. وإبراهيم. وأم محمد وأمهم أم حبيب بن حويطب بن عامر من بني الأقشر بن مالك بن حسل. قال: أخبرنا محمد بن عمر. قال: حدثنا محمد بن عبد الله الأنصاري. عن ابن أخي الزهري: أن أباه كان أسن من الزهري. وكان يكنى أبا محمد. ومات قبل الزهري. وقد لقي ابن عمر. روى عنه وعن غيره. وكان ثقة قليل الحديث.
