٩٥٣ - زياد بن أبي زياد مولى عبد الله بن عياش بن أبي ربيعة بن المغيرة المخزومي.قال: أخبرنا إسماعيل بن عبد الله بن أبي أويس قال: قال مالك بن أنس: كان زياد مولى ابن عياش رجلا عابدا معتزلا لا يزال يكون وحده يذكر الله. وكانت فيه لكنه. وكان يلبس الصوف ولا يأكل اللحم. وكانت له دريهمات يعالج له فيها. وقال غير إسماعيل: وكان صديقا لعمر بن عبد العزيز. وقدم عليه وهو خليفة فوعظه. وقربه عمر وخلا به. وكان بينهما كلام كثير. ولزياد عقب وبقية بدمشق. وروى عنه إسماعيل بن أبي خالد وغيره.
