٩٠١ - عبد الله بن حنين مولى العباس بن عبد المطلب بن هاشم وله بقية وعقب بالمدينة. وكان ابنه إبراهيم بن عبد الله بن حنين من رواة العلم. وحمل عنه الزهري وغيره. وهم يقولون نحن موالي العباس بن عبد المطلب. ينتمون إلى ذلك إلى اليوم. ويقال كان حنين مولى مثقب ومثقب مولى مسحل ومسحل مولى شماس وشماس مولى عباس. قال: أخبرنا محمد بن عمر قال: أخبرنا أسامة بن زيد الليثي قال: دخلتعلى عبد الله بن حنين ليالي استخلف يزيد بن عبد الملك. وكان موته قريبا من ذاك. وكان قليل الحديث.
