٥٨٥ - عمير بن حبيب بن حباشة بن جويبر بن عبيد بن غيان بن عامر بن خطمة. وأمه أم عمارة وهي جميلة بنت عمرو بن عبيد بن غيان بن عامر بن خطمة. قال: أخبرنا عفان بن مسلم قال: حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن أبي جعفر الخطمي عن أبيه عن جده عمير بن حبيب بن خماشة. هكذا قال عفان في الحديث: خماشة. أنه قال: إن الإيمان يزيد وينقص. فقيل له: وما زيادته وما نقصانه؟ قال: إذا ذكرنا الله وخشيناه فذلك زيادته. وإذا غفلنا ونسينا وضيعنا فذلك نقصانه. قال عفان: ثم سمعت حمادا بعد يشك. يقول عن عمير بن حبيب. فقلت: عن أبيه عن جده. قال: أحسب أنه عن أبيه عن جده.
