٥٦٧ - أسيد بن ظهير بن رافع بن عدي بن زيد بن جشم بن حارثة بن الحارث بن الخزرج بن عمرو وهو النبيت. وأمه فاطمة بنت بشر بن عدي بن أبي بن غنم بن عوف من بني قوقل من الخزرج حلفاء في بني عبد الأشهل. فولد أسيد ثابتا ومحمدا وأم كلثوم وأم الحسن وأمهم أمامة بنت خديج بن رافع بن عدي من بني حارثة من الأوس. وسعدا وعبد الرحمن وعثمان وأم رافع وأمهم زينب بنت وبرة بن أوس من بني تميم. وعبيد الله وأمه أم ولد. وعبد الله وأمه أم سلمة بنت عبد الله بن أبي معقل بن نهيك بن أساف. وكان أسيد بن ظهير يكنى أبا ثابت وكان من المستصغرين يوم أحد. وشهد الخندق. وكان أبوه ظهير بن رافع من أهل العقبة. وله بقية وعقب.
