٤٧٦ - عمرو بن سالم بن حضيرة بن سالم من بني مليح بن عمرو بن ربيعة. وكان شاعرا. ولما نزل رسول الله ﷺ الحديبية أهدى له عمرو بن سالم غنما وجزورا فقال رسول الله ﷺ:، بارك الله في عمرو،! وأقبل عمرو وبديل بن ورقاء إلى رسول الله ﷺ يومئذ فأخبراه عن قريش. وكان عمرو يحمل أحد ألوية بني كعب الثلاثة التي عقدها رسول الله ﷺ لهم يوم فتح مكة. وهو الذي يقول يومئذ: لا هم إني ناشد محمدا … حلف أبينا وأبيه الأتلدا
