    ٤٢٠ - وأخوه خطاب بن الحارث بن معمر بن حبيب بن وهب بن حذافة بن جمح. وأمه قتيلة بنت مظعون بن حبيب بن وهب بن حذافة بن جمح. وكان قديم الإسلام وهاجر إلى أرض الحبشة في الهجرة الثانية ومعه امرأته فكيهة بنتيسار الأزدي وهي أخت أبي تجراة. ومات خطاب بأرض الحبشة فقدم بامرأته في إحدى السفينتين. وكان لخطاب من الولد محمد.
