٢٩٤ - ثعلبة بن غنمة بن عدي بن سنان بن نابئ بن عمرو بن سواد. وأمه جهيرة بنت القين بن كعب من بني سلمة. شهد العقبة مع السبعين من الأنصار في روايتهم جميعا. وكان لما أسلم يكسر أصنام بني سلمة هو ومعاذ بن جبل وعبد الله بن أنيس. وشهد بدرا وأحدا والخندق وقتل يومئذ شهيدا. قتله هبيرة بن أبي وهب المخزومي.
