٨٥ - عياض بن زهير بن أبي شداد بن ربيعة بن هلال بن مالك بن ضبة بن الحارث بن فهر.ويكنى أبا سعد. وأمه سلمى بنت عامر بن ربيعة بن هلال بن مالك ابن ضبة بن الحارث بن فهر. هاجر إلى أرض الحبشة الهجرة الثانية في رواية محمد ابن إسحاق ومحمد بن عمر. قال: أخبرنا محمد بن عمر قال: حدثني محمد بن صالح عن عاصم بن عمر ابن قتادة قال: لما هاجر عياض بن زهير من مكة إلى المدينة نزل على كلثوم بن الهدم. قالوا: وشهد عياض بن زهير بدرا وأحدا والخندق والمشاهد كلها مع رسول الله ﷺ وتوفي سنة ثلاثين في خلافة عثمان بن عفان وليس له عقب.
