غزوة رسول الله ﷺ بني سليم (¬١) ثم غزوة رسول الله ﷺ بني سليم ببحران لست خلون من جمادى الأولى على رأس سبعة وعشرين شهرا من مهاجره. وبحران بناحية الفرع وبين الفرع والمدينة ثمانية برد. وذلك أنه بلغه أن بها جمعا من بني سليم كثيرا. فخرج في ثلاثمائة رجل من أصحابه واستخلف على المدينة ابن أم المكتوم. وأغذ السير حتى ورد بحران فوجدهم قد تفرقوا في مياههم. فرجع ولم يلق كيدا. وكانت غيبته عشر ليال.
