١٢٢٦ - ويزيد بن مَرْثَد أبو عثمان الهَمْدَاني الشامي (¬٢). حدث عن أبي ذَرٍّ، ومعاذ بن جَبَل، وأبي الدَرْدَاء. روى عنه خالد بن مَعْدَان، وعبد الرحمن بن يزيد بن جابر، وغيرهما. (٩٩٤) أخبرنا محمد بن الحُسَين القَطَّان، أخبرنا عبد الله بن جعفر بن دَرَسْتُوَيه، حدثنا يعقُوب بن سُفيان (¬٣)، حدثني سُليمان بن عبد الرحمن، حدثنا يَحيى بن حَمزة، حدثني الوَضِين بن عطاء، عن يزيد بن مَرْثَد، عن أبي ذَرٍّ، قال: سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: «مَنْ أَحْسَن فيما بَقِي غُفِر له ما مَضَى، ومَن أَسَاءَ فِيما بَقِي أُخِذَ بما بَقِي ومَا مَضَى».
