    ١٢٢٠ - والمُحَبِّر الثقفي (¬٤). وهو: رَبيعَة بن سُفْيان بن عَوْف بن عُقْدَة بن غِيَرَة بن عَوف بن قَسِيٍّ، فَارس شَاعر، وهو القائل:ما كُنْتُ مِمَّنْ أرَّتَ الحَرْبَ بَيْنَهُم … ولَكِنَّ مَسعُودًا جَناهَا وجُنْدُبا قَرِيعَا ثِقيفٍ أَنْشَبَا الحَربَ بينهُم … فَلم يَكُ عَنها مِنْزَعٌ حين أَنْشَبَا عَقَامًا ضَروسًا بَيْن عَوفٍ ومَالِكٍ (¬١) … شَدِيْدًا لَظَاهَا تَتْرُكُ الطِّفلَ أَشْيَبَا ذكر هذين الشاعرين أبو القاسم الآمدي (¬٢).
