    ١٠٨٨ - وعَرِيب أبو عَمْرو (¬٢). حدث عن أبيه. روى عنه ابنه عمرو. (٨٧٠) أخبرنا الحَسَن بن أبي طَالِب، حدثنا محمد بن عبد الرحيم المَازِني، وأخبرنا علي بن محمد بن الحَسن السِّمْسَار، أخبرنا الحسين بن أحمد بن محمد بن دِينار المُعَدَّل، قالا: حدثنا أبو القَاسِم البَغوي، حدثنا حَاجِب بن الوليد، حدثنا بَقِيَّة بن الوليد، حدثنا عَمْرو بن عَرِيب، عن أبيه، عن جَدِّه، قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ في قول الله ﴿وَآخَرِينَ مِنْ دُونِهِمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَهُمُ اللَّهُ يَعْلَمُهُمْ﴾ [الأنفال: ٦٠] قال: «هُمْ الجِن، ولَن يُخَيِّل الشَيطان إنسانًا في داره فَرَسٌ عَتِيق» (¬٣).
