    ١٠١٩ - والجَارُود العَبدي، يكنى أبا غِيَاث (¬٢). قَدِمَ على رسول الله ﷺ مِنْ البَحْرَيْن. (٨٠٥) أخبرنا ابن الفضل، أخبرنا علي بن إبراهيم المُسْتَمْلِي، حدثنا أبو أحمد بن فارس، حدثنا البُخاري (¬٣)، قال: «جَارُود بن المُعَلَّى، وقال بعضهم: ابن العَلاء، أبو غِياث، سَيد عبد القَيْس، وقال بعض النَسَّابِين: اسمُ الجَارود: بِشْر بن عَمرو بن حَنَش بن مُعَلَّى».
