    ١٠٠٤ - وعَتَّابُ بن المُثَنَّى بن خَوْلان القَيْسِي (¬١). وقيل القُشَيْري البَصْري. حدث عن حُمَيْد الطَويل، وبَهْز بن حَكِيم. روى عنه رَوْح، وإسحاق ابن أبي إسرائيل البَغْدَادي، وعَلي بن سَلَمة اللَّبَقِي. (٧٨٨) أخبرنا أبو طالب محمد بن الحسين بن أحمد بن بُكَير، أخبرنا أبو أحمد الحسين بن علي التَّمِيمي النَيْسَابُوري، حدثنا محمد بن سليمان بن فَارِس، حدثنا علي بن سَلَمة، حدثنا عَتَّاب بن المُثَنَّى القَيْسِي، حدثنا حُمَيد، عن أنس، قال: قال رسولُ الله ﷺ: «الخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ في نواصِيها الخَيْر إلى يَوم القِيَامَة، وأَهْلُها مُعَانُونَ عَلَيْها» (¬٢).
