    ٩٤١ - وسَهْل بن عَقِيل الأنْصَاري المِصْري (¬٤). حدث عن عبدِ اللهِ بن هُبَيْرَة السَبَأي، والحَارِث بن يَزيد. روى عنه عَمْرو بن الحارث، واللَّيْثُ بن سَعد. (٧٣٥) أخبرنا أبو القَاسِم عبدُ الرحمن بن المُظَفَّر بن عبد الرحمن المِصْري بمَكَّة، أخبرنا أبو بكر أحمد بن محمد بن إسماعِيل المُهَنْدِس، أخبرنا محمد بن زَبَّان بن حَبيب. وأخبرني الجَوْهَري، أخبرنا محمد بن المُظَفَّر، حدثنا محمد بن زَبَّان، حدثنا محمد بن رُمْح، أخبرنا الليث، عن سَهْل بن عَقِيْل، عن ابن هُبَيْرَة، عن عَلِي بن أبي طَالِب، أنه قال: «الخَيْلُ فينَواصِيْها الخَيْرُ إلى يَومِ القِيَامَة». لفظهما سواء.
