٩٣٤ - والحُسَين بن يَحْيى بن عَيَّاش أبو عبد الله القَطَّان البغدادي (¬٢). حدث عن أبي الأَشْعَث أحمدَ بن المِقْدَام، وإبراهيم بن مُجَشِّر، والحسن بن محمد الزَعْفَراني، ويَحيى بن السَّري، وعلي بن مسلم الطُوسِي، وأحمد بن محمد بن يحيى بن سعيد القَطَّان، ونحوهم. حدثنا عنه أبو عُمَر بن مَهْدِي، وأبو الحسن بن الصَلْت، وإبراهيم بن مَخْلَد، وهلال بن محمد الحَفَّار، والقاضي أبو عمر بن عبد الواحد الهاشمي، وغيرهم. ويلحق بهذا الباب: عَتَّاس. بتاء منقوطة باثنتين من فوقها وسين مبهمة وهو:
