    ٣٠٦ - وحَوْط بن يزيد (¬١). صَحابيٌّ من الأنصار، جاء ذكره في حديث: (٢٢٥) أخبرناه أحمدُ بن عبد الوَاحِد بن محمد الدِّمَشقِي، أخبرنا جَدِّي أبو بكر محمد بن أحمد بن عثمان السُلَمِي، حدثنا محمد بن يوسف بن بِشْر الهَرَوي، حدثنا الربيع بن سُلَيمان، حدثنا أسد بن مُوسى، حدثنا يحيى بن زَكَريا، حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن سُلَيمان قال: حدثني حَمْزَة بن أبي أُسَيْد، عن الحَارِث بن زِيَادٍ قال: أتيتُ النبيَّ ﷺ يوم الخَنْدَق وهو يُبَايعُ النَّاسَ على الهِجْرَة فقلت: يا رسولَ الله ألا تُبَايع هَذا؟ قال: «ومَن هذا»؟ قلت: ابنُ عَمِّي حَوْطُ بن يَزيد، قال: «لا، إِنَّكُمْ يا مَعْشَر الأنْصَار لا تُهَاجِرُون إلى أَحَدٍ ولَكِن النَّاس يُهَاجِرُون إلَيْكُم» (¬٢).
