    ٧٤ - حَنْتَف بن زَيْد بن جَعْوَنة، النَسَّابَة (¬٢). حدثني ابن حَزْم، عن كتاب عبد السَلام بن الحُسَين، قال: قال الآمِدِيُّ (¬٣): الحَنْتَفُ بنُ زَيْد بن جَعْوَنَة أَحَدُ بَنِي المُنْذِر بن جُهْمَة بن عَدِي بن جُنْدَب بن العَنْبَر بن عَمْرو بن تَمِيْم، كان أَنْسَب بَني تَمِيْم، وله مع دَغْفَل النَسَّابَة خَبَرٌ ذَكَره أبو اليَقْظَان. ويلحق بهذا الباب: الحِنْتِف. مثل الذي ذكرناه آنِفًا في هِجائه، إلا أنه بكسر الحاء والتاء، وهو:
