    ٥٣٥٠ - هرم بن حبان (ب) هَرم بن حَيّان (¬٢) العَبْدِيّ، من صغار الصحابة. ذكر خليفة، عن الوليد بن هشام، عن أبيه، عن جده قال: وجه عثمان بن أبي العاص هَرِم بن حَيّان العَبْدي إلى قلعة نجرة (¬٣) - ويقال لها: قلعة الشيوخ - وذلك سنة ست وعشرين، وفي سنة ثمان عشرة، حاصر هَرِم بن حَيّان أبْرَشَهْر (¬٤)، فرأى ملكُهم امرأةً تأكل ولدها من شدَّة الجوع والحصار، فصالح هَرِمَ بن حَيَّان، على أن خلى له المدينة. أخرجه أبو عمر (¬٥).
