    ٤٨٠٨ - مُدْلِج بن عَمْرو (ب د ع) مُدْلِج بن عَمْرو السُّلَمِيّ، أحد حلفاء بني عبد شمس، ويقال: مدلاج بن عمرو. شهد بدراً هو وأخواه: ثَقْف ومالك ابنا عمرو، وشهد مِدْلاج سائر المشاهد مع رسول اللَّه، وتوفي سنة خمسين. وقال ابن الكلبي: مالك وثقف وصفوان بنو عمرو، من بني حجر بن عياذ (¬٤) بن يشكر بن عُدْوان، شهدوا بدراً، وهم من عدوان، حُلفاء بني غَنْم بن دُودَان بن أسد» ولهذه العلة جعلوهوإخوته حلفاءَ بني عبد شمس، فإن بني غنم بن دودان كانوا حلفاء بني عبد شمس، وهؤلاء معهم في الحلف، واللَّه أعلم. أخرجه الثلاثة، إلا أن أبا عمر وابن منده جعلاهم سُلَمِيِّين، أو أسلميين، أو أسديين.
