    ٣٧١ - بجير الرَّاهِب (د ع) بَحِيرا الرَّاهِب. رأى النبي ﷺ قبل مبعثه، وآمن به. روى ابن عباس أن أبا بكر الصديق ﵁ صحِب النبي ﷺ وهو ابن ثماني عشرة سنة، والنبي ابن عشرين سنة، وهما يريدان الشام في تجارة، حتى إذا نزلوا منزلاً فيه سدرة قعد النبي ﷺ في ظلها، ومضى أبو بكر إلى راهب اسمه بحيرا يسأله عن شيء. فقال له: من الرجل الذي في ظل السدرة؟ فقال: ذلك محمد بن عبد اللَّه بن عبد المطلب، فقال له: هذا واللَّه نبي، ما استظل تحتها بعد عيسى بن مريم إلاّ محمد، فوقع في قلب أبي بكر اليقين والتصديق، فلما نبئ النبي ﷺ اتبعه أبو بكر ﵁. أخرجه ابن منده وأبو نعيم.
