    ٣٤٩ - عَسْكرُ بنُ الحُصَيْن، (¬١) أبو تُراب النَّخْشَبِيُّ، الصُّوفِيُّ قَدِمَ بَغْدَاد غَيْر مَرَّةٍ. وكَانَ يَحْضِرُ مَجْلِسُ إِمَامَنَا. قَالَ عَبْدُ الله بن أَحْمَد: جَاءَ أَبُو تُرَاب النَّخْشَبيّ إِلَى أَبِي ﵁، فَجَعَلَ أَبي يَقُول: فُلانٌ ضَعِيْفٌ، فُلَانٌ ثِقَةٌ، فَقَالَ أَبُو تُرَابٍ: يَا شَيْخُ لا تَغْتَابَ العُلَمَاءَ. فالتَفَتَ أَبي إِلَيْهِ، وقَالَ لَهُ: وَيْحَكَ، هَذَا نَصِيْحَةٌ، ليس هذَا غَيْبَةً. وقِيْلَ: ماتَ في البَادِيَةِ نَهَشَتْهُ السِّبَاعُ سَنَةَ خَمْسٍ وأَرْبَعِيْنَ ومَائَتَيْنِ.
