    ٣١٩ - عَلِيُّ بنُ عُثْمَان (¬١) بنِ سَعِيْدِ بنِ نُفَيْلٍ الحَرَّانِيُّ، وَرعٌ، عندَهُ عن إِمَامِنَا أَشْيَاء. سَمِعَ مِنْهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الخَلَّالُ وغَيْرُهُ. قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عبدِ اللّهِ يقولُ: شَرُّ الحَدِيْثِ الغَرَائِبُ الَّتي لا يُعْمَلُ بِهَا، ولا يُعْتَمَدُ عَلَيْهَا، قَالَ: وقلتُلأحْمَدَ: إِنَّ أَبَا قَتَادَةَ (¬١) كانَ يَتَكَلَّمُ في وَكِيْعٍ (¬٢)، وعِيْسَى بنِ يُوْنُسَ (¬٣)، وابْنِ المُبَارَكِ؟ فَقَالَ: مَنْ كَذَّبَ أَهْلَ الصِّدْقِ فَهْوَ الكَاذِبُ.
