    [٢٠٢٦] عقبةُ بنُ عثمانَ بن خَلَدَةَ بن مُخَلَّدِ [بن عامرٍ] (¬٣) بن زُرَيقٍ الأنصارِيُّ الزُّرَقِيُّ (¬٤)، شهد بدرًا هو وأخوه أبو عُبادةَ سعدُ (¬٥) بنُ عثمان، قال ابن إسحاقَ (¬٦): وقد كان الناسُ انهزموا عن رسولِ اللهِ ﷺ (¬٧) - يعني: يومَ أُحُدٍ - حتَّى انتهى بعضُهم إلى المُنَقَّى (¬٨) دونَ الأعوص (¬٩)،وفَرَّ عثمانُ بنُ عَفَّانَ، وعقبةُ بنُ عثمانَ وسعدُ بنُ عثمان - أخوانِ من الأنصار - حتَّى بلَغوا الجبلَ (¬١) مما يَلي الأعوصَ، فأقاموا به ثلاثًا، ثمَّ (¬٢) رجَعوا إلى رسولِ الله ﷺ، فزعَموا أَنَّ رسولَ اللهِ ﷺ قال لهم: "لقد (¬٣) ذهَبْتُم بها عَرِيضةً".
